There's No Celebrating in Nashville

Vanderbilt coach Bobby Johnson is steamed over a controversial call that was made in Saturday night's 49-42 double-overtime loss to Florida. Receiver Earl Bennett caught a touchdown pass with 54 seconds remaining in regulation to bring the Commodores within 35-34, but then was called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Replays (the Wizard is searching for a video link, so if you have a one, let us know) show Bennett moving slightly as if he were going to dance, but is grabbed by teammate Trey Holloway before he can take a step. Now Johnson, sensing his defense was tiring, says he had decided to go for the two-point conversion and win, which would have been the Commodores' first in Gainesville since 1945. Instead Vandy had to kick the extra point and force overtime (some registration).
