We're sorry to report that Natalie Nelson, who rocketed to fame as a USC Song Girl after she was photographed cheering at the wrong moment in the 2006 BCS title game at the Rose Bowl, has completed her eligibility. Yes, her Song Girl days are over.Nelson was immortalized by the photo, which sparked a series of Internet spinoffs, some of which we display below. We Are USC conducted an exit interview with Nelson a few months back, and although the questions are of the softball variety, we get a glimpse into what life as a Song Girl is really like.

WHAT A DISGRACE TO THE TROJAN FAMILY NATALIE AND HER SCHEMING MOTHER (THE USC SONG GIRL COACH) ARE. THANKFULLY SHE IS GONE NOW AND HER MOTHER SHOULD BE AS WELL. THERE WERE FAR MORE BEAUTIFUL SONG GIRLS, LIKE KELLY AND LINDSEY, ON THE 2004 SQUAD.
I agree... Let's all get over this Song Girl. As a faithful Trojan Football Fan, I can attest that she was never worthy of all this attention. The Blondes on the 2004 Song Girl Squad were GORGEOUS. Now they were something to FOCUS ON... FIGHT ON!!!
