Nobody is certain how this started, but two-time NCAA heavyweight champion Steve Mocco, right, who completed his eligibility in that sport in March, has joined Oklahoma State's football team as a defensive tackle. Because Mocco has yet practice, he can't talk to reporters, but others are talking, including defensive coordinator Vance Bedford, who said he didn't think Mocco had ever played football. But
Mocco is not to be trifled with. "Just looking at it from metabolics and summer workouts, he can move," offensive lineman Corey Hilliard said. "He's got quick hands and stuff. He's an athlete, man." Wrestling Mocco in the photo, courtesy of
Amateur Wrestling Photos, is Minnesota's Cole Konrad, who beat Mocco for the NCAA title in March. Thanks to reader Mark! (some
