Rhett Bomar, the quarterback who was
kicked off Oklahoma's team last week with guard J.D. Quinn, has expressed interest in transferring to Texas Christian. Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson acknowledged that
Bomar had contacted the school about a transfer but said little else. There are a lot of hurdles to clear. First, the NCAA has to clear Bomar to enroll at another Division I-A university. And TCU could be taking a haymaker to its public image belly if it accepts Bomar (
some registration).

Deadspin had word on Bomar considering Texas A&M-Commerce, whatever that may be.
It bothers me that programs are already chomping at the bit to get Bomar. It shouldn't be about wins and losses; his character needs some refinement before he's ready to represent his school on the field again.
