That Mississippi State fraternity of football faithful is getting restless, especially after last week's loss to Kentucky. Coach Sylvester Croom and his staff inherited an unmitigated disaster and have improved the situation to simply a disaster, but the two-year record stands at 5-11, with one embarrassing loss after another. On Saturday the Bulldogs play host to Alabama, Croom's alma mater. A victory against the Crimson Tide would rekindle memories of 1980, but don't expect anything close to that memorable 6-3 Bulldog victory that ended Alabama's 28-game winning streak.
