Crystal Ball

Matt Youmans, Las Vegas Review-Journal: Notre Dame has covered three in a row. USC has failed to cover three in a row. It's a no-brainer. Take the Fighting Irish.

Jody Demling, Louisville Courier-Journal
: There is too much Tim Tebow for Kentucky to hang with Florida. The Gators win, 45-35.

Jon Wilner, San Jose Mercury News: He already has the Rutgers' game in the bank. Now he's banking on Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Louisiana Tech. Plus his Pac-10 selections. Take Notre Dame and the points against USC.

Double D, Boston Herald: Normally, laying 30 points is not a good idea. But Oklahoma is playing at Iowa State, which has dropped home games to Kent State and Northern Iowa. Load up on the Sooners.

Bob Condotta, Seattle Times: Pac-10 picks. He's taking Arizona over Stanford, California over UCLA and USC to beat Notre Dame.

Jerry Hill, Waco Herald-Tribune: It's Texas A&M and Nebraska in "The Buyout Bowl." This one belongs to the Aggies, 24-20.

Phil Steele: His top 25 forecast includes UCLA 28, California 27. Two other predicted upsets: Colorado 31, Kansas 24 and Illinois 27, Michigan 24.

New York Post: Saturday's heroes tackle the spread.
