Some Oklahoma fans tried to sneak this giant sign into last Saturday's GameDay telecast before the Missouri-Oklahoma game in Norman. Reader David, who sent us the image, writes that "GameDay security forced them away, so they paraded it around campus all day and night."To give you an idea of the size of the sign, it is being paraded down a two-lane road with parking spaces on either side.

It's embarrassing because:
1. Why would anyone be concerned with Les Miles when the team is playing undefeated Missouri?
2. It's just not funny. There has to be something funnier/wittier than calling someone a "homo." Even if it is spelled in that Baton Rouge gumbo language.
3. It contributes to the ignorant redneck stereotype of Oklahomans.
Also, I doubt the makers of the sign were drunk from conception to creation to parade.
As a native Oklahoman, but most definitely not a Sooner fan, a Cajun, and an alum of the other university of Oklahoma where Les Miles used to coach, I'm embarrassed too!
This does not reflect well on the other university and I'm sure the result of the type of obnoxious fans of Oklahoma who turned me away from supporting that school's football team. That is not to say the majority are like that at all...sad, very sad!
OU has never played LSU with Les Miles as the coach. Last time Bob Stoops matched up against Les was when Les Miles was the head coach of Oklahoma State and the Sooners dominated him. Les is decent coach with a very talented team. By no means does he have the talent of Bob Stoops.

I got somthin to say, Oklahoma got beat by Mizzou, , then LSU got it handed to by the gators, so both yall suck. Urban Meyer, Tim Tebow, and Albert would tear yall up and parade the dead coaches on University Avenue in downtown Gainesville! GO GATORS!!!
