As the email goes, Louisiana State defensive coordinator Bo Pelini is set to return to Nebraska as soon as Bill Callahan is fired. Big Red Network picks it up from there:
"You know the e-mails I'm talking about. The ones that say Pelini is an absolute lock to be the next NU head coach, and that he is bringing in other former players and coaches [Tom Rathman, Marvin Sanders] with him.
"There is even a little ditty about a certain Omaha billionaire just chomping at the bit to give NU $40 million. ... Here's the rub. None of it is true, or at least at all verifiable."
Pelini already has experience coaching the Cornhuskers. He took over after Frank Solich was fired in 2003 and coached Nebraska to a 17-3 victory over Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl. Then he was fired by Callahan, a move that didn't get the new coach off to a good start with the locals.

Craig Bohl, a former Husker assistant and current head coach of North Dakota State, will be the next Nebraska head coach.
Incorrect. Bohl was the defensive coordinator at Nebraska when Colorado hung a 61 or something on them and the state wanted Bohl gone.
If I'm not mistaken, the Huskers made the national championship game that year. Besides, Bohl has proven his talent as a head coach. Osbourne is going to hire someone with head coaching experience.
Craig Bohl will not be the next Nebraska coach. It's either Pelini or Gil. Bohl? Wake up.
Everyone in Nebraska knows who Craig Bohl is, and no one that isn't on heavy medication wants him to be the head coach. I can only assume that you aren't paying attention or are on a heavy regiment of oxycotin.
