Identity Crisis at Iowa State

Iowa State's decision to eliminate the mascot "Cy" from the team helmet beginning next season in favor of an "I State" logo is not going over well with Cyclone fans. A group has started a site — Save Cy — with an online petition urging the athletic department to reverse its decision. In addition, the group has posted two videos on YouTube, one of which we have posted below, and started Facebook and MySpace groups in an attempt to pressure officials into keep Cy front and center.
