Unless Florida's Tony Joiner can be cleared of felony charges before Saturday, he won't be on the field when the Gators play Saturday at No. 1 Louisiana State.
Coach Urban Meyer also stripped Joiner of his captaincy after the safety's arrest early Tuesday morning. Joiner is accused of breaking into a towing company impound lot and attempting to retrieve his girlfriend’s car.
Andy Staples of the Tampa Tribune has been on the case, posting the two 911 calls made by an employee of the tow company. One the second call, you can hear Joiner yelling in the background while the employee asks police to respond faster.
