How It Was Played

Time for our weekly look at how newspapers covered the games. Not often will we get an opportunity to feature a paper from North Dakota, but after North Dakota State stunned hapless Minnesota in the Metrodome, the Forum of Fargo blared the Bison's victory across page one.

Below that, we have the sports front of the Lexington Herald-Leader. We'd love to run more sports fronts and if anybody knows where we can fetch them, please let us know.

Interesting play of the Texas A&M and Nebraska game by the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald. Although the Cornhuskers were blasted by the Aggies, the news centered on the triumphant return of Tom Osborne.

Connecticut's victory over Louisville made the cover of Saturday's Hartford Courant, and Friday's Tampa Tribune chronicled South Florida's crushing defeat at Rutgers.

As always, click an image for a closer look.
