Going Nuts Over the Red River Rivalry

An Oklahoma City man has been charged with aggravated assault and battery, accused of causing extensive damage to another man's scrotum just because he wore a University of Texas shirt into a local bar.

Allen Beckett faces five years in prison if convicted. He is accused of verbally assaulting Brian Thomas after Thomas walked into Henry Hudson's Pub.

After about 20 minutes of abuse, Thomas tried to leave, only to have Beckett grab his crotch. The men came to blows, but Beckett didn't let go until Thomas heard his scrotum tear and blood ran down his leg.

Thomas, a Texas fan, said it took more than 60 stitches to close the wound.
