Penn State Players Involved in Fracas?

Year 41 of the Joe Paterno Era appears to be off to a rough and tumble start. Police in State College are sorting out an "apartment assault" early Sunday morning that allegedly involves several members of the Penn State team.

No charges have been filed but residents of the apartment told the Daily Collegian they plan on pressing charges.

A "street confrontation" appears to have started the incident, which police say "led to the trespass and assault." A Penn State student who hosted the party told the Centre Daily Times that he denied entrance to several of the men, but then 10 or more appeared and "pushed their way in" and the assaults began.

The party host, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told the men to " 'Leave, leave, leave.' They just walked right in. They were pushing people out of the way. These guys were huge. I was being held back in the hallway by some dude who was huge."

He said "two kids" seated on stools at the bar in the apartment's main room "got the worst of it." One was struck on the head with a bottle, he said, and another got a swollen, black-and-blue eye. Another person was kicked in the head as he lay "in the fetal position" on the floor, and two others were punched in the face. He said the intrusion lasted "like three minutes" and then the intruders departed. Thanks to Kevin of We Are Penn State.

Those kids encouraged those players to come up to the apartment...given the players are still not right...but those kids were mouthing off safely from their balconies and they said something stupid to the wrong people and got what they deserve...just from some really huge people...neither parties are innocent...just unlucky...

The story is that three drunk guys mouthed off to a college football player and his girlfriend on the street. The girlfriend ends up on the ground with one of the three threatening to a weapon. Player takes girl home, gets his boys, goes to drunk's building. From the balcony, drunks continue to yell verbal and racial insults to players, who wrongfully so, go to the apt. party and take care of the three aforementioned drunks. If they weren't players, you won't be hearing about this. Was it right, not in this sick, liberal PC world

Just like in Animal House, when huge black guys ask, "Can we dance wit your women?", you say yes and leave. Fetal position...take your beating like a man.

Like the other guy said this apartment building doesn't have a balcony and no one even knew they were outside so they obviously couldn't make any "racial insults" to anyone...But hey, way to not do any research on anything and blatantly speak out of your ass. Maybe next time you can actually say something that has some true to it.

They may be starters, but I'm guessing not: The combo of a middling IQ, a massive influx of steroids and the first humbling stint as a back-up creates time bombs out of some freshman and sophmore linemen, backers, safeties, etc...
