Revenues Dry Up at Dry Coliseum

USC is averaging 90,884 for its first three home games, a number that likely will go up, but despite the record-setting attendance, concession revenues at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be off by as much as $1.8 million. The reason? USC president Steven Sample ordered beer and alcohol sales stopped at games because of what he considered unruly behavior. If concession sales continue to stay low, the revenue lost could exceed the amount the Coliseum receives in rent from USC, a number that is expected to be between $1.5 million and $1.7 million.
