Offensive coordinator Tim Lappano said of quarterback Isaiah Stanback, "When you don't know what cover 2 and 3 are, and you're a junior in college. ..." OK, we get it. This isn't a quick fix. It's grinding an unglamorous and you don't smash the champagne on the house before you lay the foundation. But progress is being made, even if you can't draw a full house for USC — the biggest show in college football.
