They're Partying at Rosa's Cantina

It was a victory that would have made the late Marty Robbins proud. In the West Texas town of El Paso Friday night, the hometown Miners stormed back from an early deficit to take a lead against Houston, then missed an opportunity to win in regulation. It went to a second overtime, and safety Quintin Demps intercepted a Kevin Kolb pass to give Texas El Paso a 44-41 victory. The bad news for the Miners? They didn't cover. ... Here are two accounts from the game, one from the El Paso Times, the other the Houston Chronicle.
