Rutgers Gets an Assist From Duke in Loss

Duke, which has been losing at an alarming rate in football for several seasons, is now exporting losses.

The Atlantic Coast Conference says Duke violated league policy last week by providing Rutgers, Maryland's opponent last Saturday, with film of the Terrapins' Sept. 22 game against Wake Forest.

Little good this did Rutgers, which went ahead and lost, 34-24. The final insult to all of this? Maryland won with backup quarterback Chris Turner, whose dad, John, was the original drummer for the rock band Ratt.

Basketball can't come soon enough for Duke, and that means it's time to visit Truth About Duke, who we thank for the image.

Truth about Duke, my ass.

Any discussion on there about Roy Williams's ongoing NCAA rules violations in making "gifts" to players? No? Shocking, I tell you.

It's an NCAA rules violation. And it was a violation when he got busted for doing the same thing at Kansas, so it's not even like he can claim ignorance. He's just breaking the rules and doesn't care who knows it.

The truth about Maryland: Out of 321 playing Division I basketball, the Twerps ranked dead last in graduation rate, with a sterling record of having graduated 0% of their players over the latest six-year period:
