West Virginia Earns a No. 1 Ranking

West Virginia, the couch-burning capital of college football, has just added another title: top party school.

West Virginia beat out, among others, Mississippi, Texas, Florida and Georgia. The Mountaineers last held the top spot in 1997. A list of the top 20 schools, according to the Princeton Review, can be found at Fan Blogs.

Predictably, administrators at West Virginia are none too pleased.

"I'm focused on the way this university changes people's lives, the research that we do and the service we provide to the state of West Virginia," said incoming university president Mike Garrison. "This is a special place, and the whole state is proud of it."

At the other end of the partying spectrum is Brigham Young, claiming the top spot in the "Stone Cold Sober" category for the 10th consecutive year.
