The Use of Enhancements at Oklahoma

Although Oklahoma players may not be using enhancements, it's clear Sooner fans are. That photo of running back Adrian Peterson that has been making the rounds? It's a fraud ladies and gentlemen. Thanks to reader Ryan, an original was found. We present you with the original shot on the left, said to be taken in December 2004, next to the enhanced version. We have no doubt that Peterson has beefed up since the original, but the puffed up version raised suspicions. Then all the fire alarms went off when shots of teammate George Robinson arrived at our cyberdesk. But unlike the Peterson shot, all indications are that the Robinson photos are, in fact, legit. The first photo, which has Robinson resembling the Michelin Tire Man, can be found at the Sooner Sports site. The only question that remains is the second shot, and we continue to search for an original. Any leads appreciated....

That is the cleanest photoshop job that I have ever seen.

I haven't seen this in a while. Before the 2004 championship game, a friend of mine was having some smack talk with USC fans over the net. He asked me to come up with a pic for them. I "enhanced" that pic of AD for them. Well, i guess it didn't scare their team too bad.

I can't believe that everyone bought it. I mean, he looks like he's about 280lb.
As for the photoshopping, the software makes it very easy to do. It only took a few minutes

Thanks Greg! The busted link has been fixed as of this posting. Blogger has been giving me trouble the last two days and this one I can't explain. I'm sure Trey Parker is none to pleased. ...

The second Robinson photo can be found on the website of The Oklahoman. It was taken on 3/21/06 following the first spring practice.

I believe the newspaper also ran an article on Duke's work out routine and the changes he made to his diet.

Aren't bloggers supposed to be cutting edge? This picture is OOOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDDD and it's well known that it was photoshopped when SiouxSooner first posted it over a year ago. Investigative reporting like this will get you on the fast track to CNN. Kudos.

The original link to the Peterson shot has been removed because of continuing problems.

It was accessed through this link:

Now that I know it's fake, I notice things like the bending of the fence post behind his right arm. Probably the liquify tool.

yea it was the liquify tool. Brian is right, if you look closely you can see plenty of errors. It was made fairly quickly and totally in fun to mess with the USC fans.
