Instead of tearing down the old press box piece-by-piece, officials decided to bring it down in a matter of seconds on Saturday. Explosives were used to separate and send the structure crashing to the pavement, and we have video and photos of the event.

Explosive Situation in Iowa City
Iowa is in the midst of a renovation of Kinnick Stadium, which will include a new press box.
