Don't worry, youre not alone, you can join most of your fanbase in that.

BYU was accused of doing the same thing that you along with a handful of others did so the fans were upset because of a false accusation and we spoke up about it. Say anything negative about BYU, and you'll be hearing about it from Cougar fans whose whole self-images are dependent on the BYU football team. There is no bigger group of whiners in America. Of course, BYU fans would tell you they are continually getting screwed. After all, BYU never gets beaten -- they only lose when they beat themselves or they get screwed by the refs.

You picked a good classless moment for BYU. Running up the score 38-0 was pretty typical for BYU this year. But there were so moments to choose from. How did BYU running back Curtis Brown intentionally grabbing the jewels of an opposing player miss the list? How about when the BYU student section chanting "You got fired" at Utah's coach, just two days after he resigned under pressure? Yes, BYU fans have had so much to be proud of this year. How dare you question that glorious BYU tradition?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15857498.post-68652762704197939562007-03-27T18:00:00.000-07:002007-03-27T18:00:00.000-07:00Who designed this blog...what a joke dude. I think the beating Hawaii handed Utah State on its own field was much worse then the licking they took at LES. As a Ute fan this is hard to say, but I went to Logan to watch my utes kick the snot outta USU 48-0 the week before, (we were throwing on third down and blitzing until the final whistle.) BYU's touchdown pass from JASON Beck, was questionable, but to put them on the list against the likes of Mike Sanford (who also embarasses Utah as well) and Miami/FIU is a joke. Utah State also played a little dirty against the Utes too, all the shoves I saw vs the Coogs were all USU. The pers...OK, I thought good writers did research. The person who wrote this is an idiot and did zero research on the BYU Utah State game. For example, John Beck, the starting QB for BYU, was out of the USU game with two bad ankles. BYU was in a bind and only had one QB available to play in Jason Beck. The only other QB was Jason Bower, a redshirt freshman. So tell me this, if you were BYU's headcoach would you have put in a redshirt freshman just to not run up the score and loss that players redshirt year? BYU is in a tough situation since Ben Olsen transfered to UCLA. How about doing some research before making yourself look like an idiot. How about this Utah 48 USU 0, Nevada 42 USU 0, Hawaii 63 USU 10, Idaho 41 USU 21, BSU 49 USU 10, NWSU 42 USU 20, and Wyoming 37 USU 7. Maybe BYU should have put in a running back or vBYU is a heated game every time they play. For USU it is a huge rivalry and to have a little pushing after a play in a rival game is normal. Again you would know this if you did any research at all!! This part about BYU show that the writer of this article is an idiot and doesn't do his research at all. What a joke!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15857498.post-1169072048425095622007-01-17T14:14:00.000-08:002007-01-17T14:14:00.000-08:00FYI, Jason was almost always put in during the las...FYI, Jason was almost always put in during the last quarter when BYU was clearly winning. If you watched BYU during the season you would have known that. You are out of line to single them out for one game where they beat a team by a large margin. Whether Jason Beck started that game or not, he is still the backup quarterback. Why should they have to put in a 3rd or 4th string guy just because they were winning. Your reaching for some thing that's not there. I can name you several teams in history that have been notorious for running up scores; Miami, FL State, OK ECT. Why are you picking on a team that is coming off 3 horrible losing seasons. Here is a link to BYU'S schedules,A look at some of the run ups they had done to them. Are any of those teams on your classless list? And quite frankley, to call a school like BYU classless in anything is rediculous. BYU is one of the biggest class acts in the NCAA. There have been problems with the ticket system there (you print out your own ticket - so many people are making photocopies and letting all their friends into the bottom sections). Due to overcrowding, security at the game started telling people that if they left their section, they wouldn't be allowed back in. Since people knew they'd lose their seats if they went to the bathroom, they went in the stands.

Again, not something I would do, not something I'm proud of as an alumnus of NC State, but let's give all the information, thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15857498.post-1168702577857875582007-01-13T07:36:00.000-08:002007-01-13T07:36:00.000-08:00I fail to see how Oklahoma ranks with these others...I fail to see how Oklahoma ranks with these others.
