Orange Bowl Logo Devoured by Mangino

With an apology to Rick Jaffe, Thursday night's Orange Bowl telecast by Fox left a lot to be desired. The fixed cameras on a group of Kansas fans and the Virginia Tech band got old after the first five minutes. Then there was this spinning Orange Bowl logo that somehow ended in Mark Mangino's mouth. Thanks to TV Tan Line.

I don't watch the NFL except during the playoffs, so I wasn't aware of (or I'd forgotten) how freaking annoying their on-field down-and-distance arrow is. It's in the score/clock box up above, I don't need it on the field. Yellow first-down line = great. The down-and-distance arrow? Not so much.

and yes, i was tired of seeing that old white man that was rooting for KU too!
