Buckeye Cheerleaders Fail Spelling Test

How bad did things get for Ohio State in Monday night's Bowl Championship Series title game? The cheerleaders leading the team onto the field for the start of the second half forgot to use their spellchecker and O-H-I-O became O-O-H-I.

Louisiana State fan Seth, who was at the Superdome, said he was laughing too much to get a picture, but another Tiger fan did and the full photo is on display at Tiger Droppings.

Maybe if the OSU fans would help them out once in a while by spelling O-H-I-O, oh wait, never mind.

If you can't go to school, go to State.

BTW, I subscribed to SI--and they took my 94 dollars--partly to get the Red Sox DVD, book and baseballs in thir "bonus package."
The baseballs never came. I see they're now offering an LSU national championship package. Good luck on seeing that T-shirt, book, DVD, Tigers. What a rip!

We played Texas Tech once and the cheerleaders ran out onto the field spelling "TCEH".

There was an awkward mess on the field and the, 2d O and H got caught on each other. They finally pulled apart but it seemed like H wouldn't start running and O kept blowing into H and I so finally O started running. Still lame, but there was at least SOME reason for the idiocy.

it looks like the first "O" is just a really slow runner and the other 3 letters are about to lap him...

People forget that Missouri went 2-0 against the SEC this year, 1-0 against the Big Ten, and they CLOBBERED Western Michigan. Missouri should have played for the National Title. Oklahoma had some weird hex on them, but nobody else in the country can hang with Mizzou.

Mizzou couldn't whip itself out of a wet paper bag.

Futhermore, Ohio State had more academic Big Ten selections that any other Big 10 school. This includes academic powerhouses: Michigan, Northwesten, and Wisconsin.

Also, OSU is ranked the #19th best public school in the nation.

Do I really need to brag about the athletics? Last year SI named OSU as "THE" Program that all others should be modeled.

Not to mention the only athletic dept that has grossed over $100mil. in profits in a single year. Next best--Texas @ $92mil the year they won the title in FB.

It's good to be a Buckeye--even if we can't win the big game.

Ahhhh....next year!

19th best public school? why even brag? you wonder why it is OSU that has the most academic big ten selections. maybe because it is easier to become an acadic ten ten selection coming from OSU, the 19th ranked public school. perhaps they don't hold their students to high enough standards. 19th, ha.

19th????? WTF? HAHAHAHAHAHA! Dude, you're bragging about that? Pathetic, just pathetic.

LSU fans talking academics. Now that is funny.

captainlonghair says, "acadic ten ten" is something to be achieved; perhaps something unattainable for
SEC students/fans. Anyway, out of 200+ Division I schools, 19th would put us in the top 10 percent academically. Where is LSU?

Where is LSU??? In the National Champions chair.....
