The Place to Get Game Stories

Suppose you have 50 sites and blogs that you like to visit regularly. Doing this could take hours. Not cool.

That is why we created News Wired, which is an aggregate site of RSS feeds for 120 college teams. What is RSS? It is an acronym for Real Simple Syndication, or I'm Ready for Some Stories! In short, all of your sites will be located in one place, eliminating the need to visit 50 sites. Technology at work.

What does this mean to you? Example: If you are looking for stories from Saturday's games, they will all flow into News Wired minutes after they are posted elsewhere on the Internet because the page is retrieving the RSS feeds for you. All you need to do is refresh the page from time to time to display the new links to headlines.

Give News Wired a test run this weekend and let us know what you think, good or bad. Teams are listed alphabetically, from Air Force to Wyoming. Because we are pushing a golf ball of information through a garden hose, it takes a moment to load the page.

The page runs around the clock, 365 days a year. Any story about the 120 teams should appear on News Wired minutes after it is posted on the Internet. This will encompass all sports, not only football.

News Wired is also listed under links on the top right-hand column of this page.

As always, we can be reached at dawizofodds (at) aol.com. Enjoy the games!
