IIRC someone on the eaglepost.net message board tracked the ownership of that URL, as well as many similar URLs, down to someone in the Southern Miss athletic department.
The general belief is that this was a preemptive measure and that the mental wellness statement is directed towards anyone who would actually want to launch FireJeffBower.com, not the coach himself.
Bower has had 13 straight winning seasons. That's one of five programs in the country to do that.
The others with 13 straigt or more:
Michigan, Florida, Florida State and VA Tech.
