Running Scared in Starkville?
West Virginia, which recently took care of the best the SEC could offer by defeating Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, is expected to have a powerhouse team in 2006. Now there are rumblings that Mississippi State, which takes up residence in the basement of the SEC, is having issues with its schedule and might be considering making some kind of switcheroo. Does this involve the Mountaineers? It is up for debate at the moment, but the Wiz thinks the more teams from BCS conferences that meet in nonconference games, the better. Who really wants to watch No. 3-ranked Powerhouse U. drill Division I-AA Sisters of the Poor, 63-0?
